Sonja Sleator & Ethan Hanna set for double September single releases – Tin Man Heart label

Ethan and Sonja will both play a string of dates around Ireland in the build up to Hard Working Class Heroes and Ethan’s album launch:

Sonja Sleator: Sonja Sleator has established herself as one of Northern Ireland’s most recognisable singer/songwriters.

Her story-driven songs have earned her performances on some of Ireland’s most prestigious stages, including Hard Working Class Heroes 2018, the Society Sessions, Sunflower Festival and Culture Night, as well as a support slot with Northern Irish legends Kaz Hawkins and Cormac Neeson (The Answer).

Not afraid to venture outside her comfort zone, Sonja has performed across the UK and Ireland, most notably in London’s On’t Sofa Sessions. Outside the UK, she has performed in Nashville, New Orleans and San Francisco, including an appearance on the famous Norm’s Rare Guitars YouTube channel.

She released her debut EP, ID, in 2014, followed up with charity single, Christmas Time In This Town. In 2017 Sonja recorded her second EP, ADAMS, with producer Michael Mormecha at Milbank Studios in Northern Ireland.

Ethan Hanna: Ethan Hanna is an artist who can tear you down with a line. Buried beneath the overtones of familiar Americana is a lyrical talent which has the power to disarm and enthral. Writing about loves lost and found, family and growing up in Northern Ireland, Hanna’s emotive turn of phrase has helped him channel nostalgia and romanticism into a compelling collection of songs to be released in 2018.
