Nel 2017 i The Sound of Money, una band dell’underground pop di Monaco, hanno preso come DNA i titoli dei loro 12 album preferiti degli anni ’60 – e hanno dato una bella scrollata alle lettere! Ne è uscito un gruppo di 12 nuovi titoli. Hanno scritto quelle canzoni, le hanno registrate e le hanno raccolte nell’album MORE? WHY NOT! – an anagrammatical exorcism of the 60s. Ora, a distanza di 7 anni, hanno realizzato un seguito, ma questa volta con i loro album preferiti degli anni ’70!
In TWO: RHYME ON – an anagrammatic exorcism of the 70s, la lista degli album preferiti della band spazia da David Bowie agli Chic, da Nico alle Slits, da Bob Marley ai Kraftwerk.
E gli anagrammi? Ecco un esempio: “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars” è diventato “Dr. Dr. Themefart, Frustrating Himself, Posed as Gay Old Nazi SS”.
