Echo & The Bunnymen<\/strong> release their first album of new music in twelve years today <\/strong>(September 18th 2026). “Apples For Isaac<\/strong><\/a>” is the band\u2019s 13th album and follows 2014\u2019s Meteorites <\/em>(and the 2018 compilation The Stars, the Oceans & the Moon). An untouchable voice singing lyrics that could well be poetry from the stars, set against a musical backdrop capable of levitating listeners without warning \u2014 “Apples for Isaac<\/em>“<\/strong> is a monumental return from Echo & The Bunnymen<\/strong>. After years spent performing their immense catalogue of classics to audiences around the world, the Bunnymen have recorded an album that is bold and confident and at times even offers the listener a loving embrace. Across “Apples for Isaac”<\/strong>\u2019s eleven songs, Ian McCulloch, Will Sergeant and the band have created an utterly addictive collection that perfectly captures the very essence of what makes the Bunnymen<\/strong> so great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Formed in Liverpool in 1978, Echo & The Bunnymen<\/strong> cast an astonishing brightness into the long shadows of punk rock.
