(NZ MEDIA) The release of ‘Love Today’ will be celebrated on New Zealand’s Mai FM radio network with a massive competition to win a “Katchafire Jim Beam Homegrown Festival Backstage Experience” in Wellington. With return flights on Air NZ & accommodation at Rydges, the winner will be chilling backstage with the boys at the Jim Beam Homegrown music festival . Speaking of the recording process, Jordan says “The way this song came together is the epitome of the legacy kaupapa (theme). Katchafire is such a huge family – not only the core members but international members as well as family that have housed, fed, & looked after us on this journey. They have all played a part.”

An eclectic piece that has come together in all corners of the globe, ‘Love Today’ was written in Ngaruawahia NZ; the vocals were recorded in New Zealand, Hawaii, Australia and Hollywood; the music was recorded in Jamaica, Hollywood & Hawaii; the track was edited in NZ and Jamaica; then mixed & mastered in Jamaica!
