Leon Seti is an electro-pop solo project born in 2016 out of the mind and voice of Leo Baldi, who produces, writes and arranges all the songs. Created primarily for the sweet release of creativity alongside an outlet for Leon’s stunning vocals, with an EP (Talking Shadows, 2016) and album (Genuflection, 2016) under his belt already, Seti has released his second single of 2018.
Hot off the back of his first post-album single, Fake, Seti brings his strange beats, synths and atmospheric vocals to show the light amongst the darkness in its counterpart. Cut My Teeth is a bright, minimalist yet open pop track about leaving someone you care about only to discover that distance does not mean anything if there’s gravity. Full of space metaphors and sparse synths and a hectic beat, Cut My Teeth is yet another gem coming from the mind of this visionary artist.
From starting in his University bedroom to being interviewed by the BBC Introducing and then moving to London, Leon’s worked with and continues to support young video-makers and directors to bring his art to life whilst keeping it visually appealing for a pop audience.
