Shipwrecked together on a desert island, five not-so-salty seadogs came together to form All Ashore! in 2016 and Don’t Miss the Boat records in 2018.
Featuring members of indie pop legends Velodrome 2000, The Parallelograms and Plouf!, All Ashore! are sailing into a harbour near you, bringing their jangly guitars, seaside-organ-from-hell and twinkly omnichord with them. Landlubbers beware, All Ashore! will reel you in with their harmonies, dis-harmonies, plastic seagulls and sailor hats.
Their recording debut ‘Perfect Popsong’ was engineered and produced by another Sheffield music legend Nort (see also Hula). This 7” double A side split with fellow Sheffield band Thee Mightees is the first vinyl release by Sheffield’s own Delicious Clam Records and Don’t Miss the Boat Records. It will be out at the end of July 2018 to coincide with All Ashore!’s performance at the Indietracks festival.
