Following on from their critically acclaimed 4th album, ‘Evaporate’ (2018), for which the band was awarded the prestigious Prog Magazine ‘Limelight Award’ and placement in many top albums of 2018 lists, Scottish duo Midas Fall (Elizabeth Heaton and Rowan Burn) release new single, ‘Blink’, to tie in with their European tour dates.
Says Elizabeth Heaton, “Blink is about having your expectations shattered in just a blink of an eye and the journey of self-doubt that follows. Originally a short acoustic track that captured that feeling, the song then evolved into a more progressive/post rock song in the rehearsal room – one that we are very excited about playing live for the first time on our upcoming tour.”
Lush and cinematic, the track swoops and soars, with Heaton’s gorgeous evocative vocals gliding delicately above.
The single is being released worldwide today by Monotreme Records.
