Canadian gruesome war metal collective THE BLACK SORCERY made their arrival notorious with the 2018 debut album, …and the Beast Spake Death from Above. Now, the troop will unfurl the next chapter of their aural bestiality through the upcoming second album, Wolven Degrade.
The Black Sorcery have not limited their obscenity by only waving the flag of Canadian war metal legacy, they have built new pillars to strengthen the usual sonic paradigm of the sub-genre — with the help of grim black metal influences, maniacal guttural nastiness and piercing screams.
Totaling ten cruelly themed numbers, Wolven Degrade will be out on March 28th. Krucyator Productions will take care of the CD and Appalachian Noise Records will release the vinyl (limited to 100 black LPs).
“Intolerance Enthrone” — the second single of the album, is currently being streamed via Indy Metal Vault (US) and Deaf Forever (Ger).
Lörd Matzigkeitus, the vocalist states:
“That Ragnar decreed,
Whence might is unholy right.
The arm of ultimate fury is I.”
“‘Intolerance Enthrone’ as a track is an impervious line drawn in the sand about what we shall not accept and revolt against in single-minded retaliation. The crackling of power that surges in those among Mankind that indignantly demand more in life than circumventing the bleating obstacles that are the weak.”
“The Black Sorcery are the blunt force of hurtling meteors, crashing down upon everything the Earth once was.”, adds Lörd M.
The repugnant artwork completed by Jenglot Hitam.
