Both originating from the UK, Julie Infanti and Pete Denton are a female/male vocal/guitar duo, based in Cyprus.
Before coming together, Julie was performing in Cyprus and the UK and Pete in bands in the UK. Pete also had a stint at band management, working with David Arden (son of Don Arden and brother of Sharon Osbourne) David was an integral part of the Don Arden management team and Jet Records in the 60’s and 70’s and Pete learned a lot from David. Pete met David through his sister Sharon when she expressed an interest in Pete’s son’s (Pete Denton jnr) 1st band “Cube”.
Pete jnr later became a member of The Kooks. Jules & Pete, began performing together in 2019 in bars (including “Hard Rock Cafe”) and hotels all over the east of Cyprus. Back in the summer of 2020, whilst performing, they were approached by the musical instrument manufacturer “Roland/Boss” and offered an Artist Sponsorship Agreement, which in turn led to the addition of some incredible new sound equipment for the duo courtesy of Roland/Boss.
Towards the end of 2020 and into 2021 Jules & Pete began writing their own original material and decided on the name J67 to promote this new project.
Their debut double A side single ‘Heaven’ and ‘Good Times’ written by Julie & Pete is to be released through Blind Dog Records on June 25th and will be available for download across all major platforms. In a typical year Jules & Pete and J67 will perform to over 18,000 people.
