Time and space are two dimensions intertwined for eternity. Through the journey of time, Jeff Mills has amassed a truly remarkable and extensive back catalogue. Not only are there countless albums and EPs, but a vast amount of productions never to grace the ears of the public. With this in mind, and through the development of his ever-evolving voyage through space, it was time to reflect on a career spanning over three decades: The Director’s Cut. This consideration led to this new 3xCD box set: Sight, Sound and Space.
This 3-part production features compiled tracks from the Mills Archive, each carefully selected to re-examine, but also to expand on the themes of Sight, Sound and Space. Each disc is a full-length album and each delivers a unique listening experience. Of course, it includes tracks like ‘The Bells’, but also unreleased works like ‘The 25th Hour’ and ‘Outer Space’ and exclusive cuts like ‘Unreleased 002 and 005’. Tracks that were only previously available on Purpose Maker and Axis vinyl are for the first time released on CD.
Not only does it contain these stellar works of techno, but a 47-pages-booklet in which Jeff Mills himself gives a little (his)story about each track.

It features a nifty mixing tool, an interview with Mills and insightful information about Sight, Sound and Space. The site ties together the entire piece; it gives rare insight and a glimpse of the man from the moon.
