Stellarscope is one of the pillars of Philadelphia’s indie rock scene and has found an always-growing audience for its post-punk sound. A Glimpse of Light in the Darkness is the band’s most evolved release to date and fully articulates the post-rock/shoegaze/hard pop style it has developed. The title reflects the darkness that has always been part of Stellarscope’s music as well as the themes of optimism and hope found in this new song cycle. The lineup of Tom Lugo (vocals and guitars), Bob Forman (drums), and Rob DeFlaviis (bass) is strong, committed, and ready to take these songs to the world.
