“Spin” is a track taken from the project’s upcoming album “Long Game” due for release via Epictronic worldwide.
“Spin is a foot-tapping harp-driven pop song with rock influences. Writer Julia Mascetti attempted to capture the mania of working in the creative industries in the 21st century through fast, frenzied lyrics and catchy riffs. The video, produced by up-and-coming French filmmaker Max Benoist, has an urban and darkly vintage aesthetic. We see Julia roam the streets of London at night, rock out on her harp in a basement bar, and document it all on a 1930s typewriter. What stories could she be spinning? Watch to find out.”

The Lonely Harps Club is a harp-driven art pop project created by British harpist and songwriter Julia Mascetti. The project’s debut album is due for release in May 2021.
The project combines Julia’s diverse musical influences, including her time as singer of the Japanese heavy metal band Gjöll and her work as a folk-pop harpist.
Expect cerebral yet infectiously catchy pop that counts female pioneers such as Kate Bush amongst its influences, as well as the dark undertones of hard rock and metal, and even hints of spoken word and trip hop.
