RAS MC BEAN HAS NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO “BOOTS TRACKS” WITH SOULCRAFT
New Ras Mc Bean single, titled “Books Tracks” is out to present groovy new cooperation with Serbian roots reggae band Soulcraft. Fans of Ras Mc Bean are intrigued by his recent decision to become a full time, equal member of a band from Balkans, and this song is the first proof of his wise judgement, out of plenty that will follow.
Soulcraft is a roots reggae band from Belgrade, Serbia, with two albums released. In May 2017 they invited Ras Mc Bean to record an album together with them, which resulted in a full time merge.
In December 2017 Ras Mc Bean spent two weeks in Belgrade and recorded 15 new songs together with Soulcraft. Soulcraft created and produced music, while Ras Mc Bean brought lyrics and above all his lead vocals which crowned the mutual effort with an outstanding result. Overtly pleased with the quality and the potential of the new cooperation, Ras Mc Bean decided to become an equal member of Soulcraft.
„I expect this to become one of the best reggae albums in the world,“ said Ras Mc Bean in a statement given to a Belgrade portal Gle.
“It’s a great honor and pleasure for us to have Ras Mc Bean as a member of our band,” says the drummer of Soulcraft, Dejan Utvar. “Work with him in the studio was very creative and intense. Now we look forward to concerts with him.”
„Boots Tracks“ is their first single and video, announcing the upcoming album, to be released in May 2018 through Ammonite Records.
